Linking access to education with personal interests is where true power emerges. Providing scholarships to both aid students in achieving their academic goals and develop their passions is proving to be a path to do just that.

Keurig Dr Pepper and 23XI Racing have teamed up to create the 23XI SPEED Institute to offer students an inside track to the world of professional racing.

The 23XI SPEED Institute provides financial assistance to college students who are interested in pursuing careers in the motorsports field. The firsthand experiences students receive have proven to be as impactful as classroom learning.

Clayton State University student Taylor Chapman was one of 23 students to receive a Dr Pepper 23XI SPEED Institute Tuition Program scholarship. Like many of her peers, Taylor was able to link her academic interests with her passion through the scholarship.

“The program has helped me advance in my education and realize my dream of working with a real racing team,” said Taylor.

23XI Racing was founded in 2020 by NBA legend Michael Jordan and NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin. The SPEED Institute was launched the following year to expand on the team’s diversity and inclusion efforts.

Founders Jordan and Hamlin recognized the crucial need to expand educational and professional development opportunities for students interested in a career in motorsports. Keurig Dr Pepper became a founding partner of 23XI Racing and developed its tuition program to further support the next generation of motorsports professionals.
