As we celebrate Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we tip our hats to the hard-working men and women who work tirelessly to deliver our products and support America's small businesses and consumers. Whether it's at the corner bodega, local grocery store or neighborhood mom and pop shop, our drivers touch every part of our communities and economy.

Many choose to go into the trucking industry because of the good paying jobs and benefits. Additionally, during their careers, many choose to take advantage of the training programs available that provide workers with the skills, tools and pathways for advancement within their companies.

So, next time you're in your neighborhood and see a truck driver, take a moment to thank him or her for their critical contributions. Our communities wouldn't be the same without them.
