The French playwright Jules Renard wrote, “Liberty is the right to choose. Freedom is the result of the right choice.”  And though he authored these words in the late 1800’s they still ring true today.

Having choices is part of the essence of the human spirit and puts us in control of our lives. It often seems so much is beyond our control these days – that awful morning commute, bad weather interfering with your outdoor plans – but our freedom allows us to think, respond, adjust, collaborate and choose.

Americans are fortunate to have an abundance of choices in the grocery store every day that meet a variety of dietary needs and taste preferences in an array of calorie levels. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the beverage aisle, where you can grab delicious, refreshing beverages – including something new as beverage companies constantly innovate – in all kinds of flavors, sizes and varieties.

You can’t do anything about that wet, rainy commute or the 8:00 a.m. conference call tomorrow you’re needed on tomorrow morning, but you can choose the refreshing beverage that’s right for you and find your “Aaaaahhhh moment” at the end of a long day. Because you have choices.
