America’s beverage companies are committed to giving back to their communities every day and especially on this Giving Tuesday. As part of our ongoing industry-wide efforts to support families in reducing the sugar they consume from beverages, we are working with local and national organizations to ensure that consumers have the information they need to make the decisions that best fits their lifestyle.

But it doesn’t stop there. From providing emergency relief in times of need to supporting actions that protect the planet, our members are working harder than ever for our customers, consumers and communities:

  • This month, The Coca-Cola Foundation pledged $400,000, and The Coca-Cola Company committed an additional $100,000, to the American Red Cross to provide emergency food, shelter and assistance to the thousands of people across Northern and Southern California who have been impacted by the devastating wildfires.
  • Earlier this year, Keurig Dr Pepper partnered with Keep America Beautiful on the Park Recycling Bin Grant Program to provide 34 grants with a total distribution of 936 new recycling bins in public parks across the country.
  • Through their Food for Good program, PepsiCo is working to combat childhood hunger. They are doing so by working with local partners and have delivered 80 million nutritious servings of food to 19 US cities.

These are just some of the ways our industry is giving back, because we know that we all play a part in creating strong, healthy communities.
