Beth Goldstein Joins American Beverage as Senior Vice President for Policy & Strategy

WASHINGTON – Kevin Keane, president and chief executive officer of American Beverage, announced today the appointment of senior food and beverage industry veteran Beth Goldstein as senior vice president for policy & strategy.

“Beth will bring strong expertise to a talented American Beverage team as a proven leader, sharp strategist and public policy expert who has worked extensively with business and government,” Keane said.

“She has a track record of effectively driving public policy outcomes for industry and building strategic coalitions in support of numerous issues and regulatory challenges. Her experience makes her uniquely suited to move our industry forward.”

At American Beverage, Goldstein will help lead health and environmental initiatives and public policy efforts across the country.

She joins American Beverage from Squire Patton Boggs, where she led work on major legislation and issue awareness campaigns in many fields for clients including those in the food and beverage industry.

Goldstein brings with her valuable experience working in government, having started her career as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill.

Goldstein grew up in Northbrook, Ill. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology at the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in social policy and planning at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She earned a law degree at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
