As the holiday season comes to an end and people return to work after family parties, ringing in the New Year and busy holiday travel, it appears that many are bringing something back with them – the cold and flu virus.

According to the CDC, there are currently high and increasing levels of the flu – as well as the common cold - in parts of the country. And it seems we’re just getting started, with peak flu months generally occurring in January and February. The CDC offers a few recommendations for preventing colds and staying healthy this winter, namely: staying home when you are sick, covering your mouth and nose, and washing your hands frequently to prevent the spread of germs. And importantly, getting enough sleep, exercising regularly and drinking plenty of fluids.

Luckily, our member companies provide an abundance of choices when it comes to keeping hydrated.  Check out our Delivering Choices website to find a beverage that fits your lifestyle (and your cold and flu season).
