The American Beverage Foundation for a Healthy America’s (ABFHA) community grant program seeks to strengthen both the physical and environmental health of our communities and citizens. These grants are a perfect example of our industry's commitment to foster partnerships and drive community change. Previous grant winners have used ABFHA grants for community gardening initiatives, after school fitness programs and recycling initiatives. 

For example, “Recycle Montana” is a statewide program that educates residents and promotes community recycling efforts to bolster collection rates of recyclable materials. With the assistance of a matching grant from the Montana Beverage Association and ABFHA, Recycle Montana raises awareness and inspires consumers to recycle properly. As part of the program, “recycling education trunks” are placed in classrooms across the state to teach approximately 21,000 students of the importance of recycling valuable materials like our 100% recyclable bottles.
