We’ve often blogged on the importance of maintaining a healthy weight by balancing the calories from all we eat and drink with those we burn through physical activity. And we’ve also shared how important it is to get our children up and moving, something our First Lady has thankfully drawn attention to it with her “Let’s Move!” campaign.

So today we thought we’d share another interesting article on the correlation between a “healthy heart and a “healthy brain.” It’s a short read – so take a few minutes.  And then next time you go for a walk, hike, bike ride – or any other form of physical activity – take the children along.  Good habits today have a tendency to stick around for a lifetime.
