America’s beverage companies are constantly working on innovative and effective solutions to support families in their efforts to reduce the sugar consumed from beverages. It’s not always easy to find balance. That’s why Coca-Cola, Keurig Dr Pepper and Pepsi are joining forces to make the biggest impact possible, in more ways than one.

On the front of every can, bottle and pack we produce, you can find clear calorie labels providing you with exact nutritional information so that you’re fully informed about the calories and sugar in our beverages. Same goes for vending machines, fountains and coolers nationwide, where over 3 million labels have been placed reminding you to “think balance” before choosing your beverage.

In schools, we listened to parents and helped change the beverage landscape. In all K-12 schools, we removed all full-calorie soft drinks and ultimately reduced beverage calories shipped to schools by more than 90%. Today, none of our beverages in schools exceed 66 calories per 8 ounces, with the exception of 100% juices.

On top of these efforts, America’s beverage companies are leading the largest voluntary effort by any industry to reduce obesity. This bold goal aims to reduce beverage calories consumed in the American diet by 20%. Through this commitment, we’re putting together our collective marketing expertise to make finding that right balance for you and your family a little easier. We’re supporting your efforts by providing more choices than ever before, and many in smaller portions and with less sugar or no sugar at all. In fact, 50% of beverages sold today contain zero sugar.
