Temperatures are high throughout the nation, and particularly here in our nation’s capitol where it's a steamy 95 degrees. With such warm weather, it is tempting to stay outside and soak in the sun. And while outdoor activities are great for staying healthy, dehydration can be a big problem. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), an estimated 300 Americans die each year due to heat-related illnesses!  So, make sure you remember to hydrate.

And here’s an important fact:  the best time to drink fluids is actually before you are thirsty, because by the time you feel thirsty you are already starting to get dehydrated.

So while you are enjoying the great weather please be sure to hydrate with one of these refreshing beverages.
