Beverage companies provide good-paying jobs; significant tax revenues for schools, infrastructure and other services; and support for local community initiatives. Our companies are woven into the fabric of America’s communities.

That’s why we were proud to see one of our board members, Cliff Ritchie, president and CEO of Carolina Beverage Corporation, at the White House yesterday. Carolina Beverage is a family-owned company that creates a North Carolina favorite, Cheerwine. Cheerwine was one of 50 “Made In America” products featured during the White House’s showcase. What makes this especially exciting is that the cherry-flavored soda is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

America’s beverage companies are proud of the opportunities we bring to our hometowns and care deeply about the communities where we live, work and play. We are American companies with American workers making American products in America’s hometowns.
