WASHINGTON – American Beverage announced the promotion of Franklin Davis to vice president, head of federal affairs, overseeing the association’s federal legislative agenda and driving advocacy efforts on behalf of the non-alcoholic beverage industry.
“Franklin has been instrumental in delivering key policy advancements for America’s non-alcoholic beverage industry for more than a decade,” said American Beverage President and CEO Kevin Keane. “During this critical moment in Washington, Franklin is the right leader to represent our companies as we continue to drive meaningful solutions to public policy challenges.”
As head of the federal affairs team, Davis will advance American Beverage’s policy priorities and drive political engagement on Capitol Hill and within the administration. This includes efforts to protect consumer choice, improve recycling and support a thriving economy.
“This is a pivotal moment for our members, and I’m excited to lead the association’s federal affairs efforts as we navigate the incredible opportunities and challenges ahead,” said Davis. “I’m honored to represent America’s beverage companies – who make American products, with American workers, in America’s hometowns.”
Davis is recognized as an effective advocate in Washington, including being named to The Hill’s Top Lobbyists (2022, 2023, 2024).
